Medical Assistant Positions Available
Medical Assistant – Traverse City, MI (Full-Time)
We are searching for a hard-working, personable Medical Assistant for our Traverse City office. This position requires the candidate to travel to some of our other clinic locations to support coverage.
Salary & Compensation
- Base wage: $16.50/hour
- Eligibility for additional compensation based on:
- Experience
- Certification
- Educational attainment
- Productivity bonus potential: Up to $200/month on top of base wage

- Prepare patient exam rooms
- Start patient visits
- Review medical history
- Take and record vitals
- Update and maintain electronic medical records
- Assist with office procedures
- Problem-solve patient concerns (both in person and via phone)
- Ensure timely follow-up for orders, referrals, and prior authorizations
You will work closely with healthcare staff and contribute to a client-centered patient experience.
Job Details
- Position type: Full-time
- Hourly rate: $16.50 – $19.10/hour
- Expected weekly hours: 40
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (day shift) with weekend availability as needed
- Location: In-person, Traverse City, MI (relocation required before starting)
Requirements
- Dependability and strong reliability
- Access to reliable transportation for potential travel to other clinic sites
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality patient care
- Computer proficiency (EMR systems, data handling, etc.)
- Customer-focused mindset

Preferred (but not required)-
- 1+ year of medical office, patient care, or EMR system experience
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Valid Driver’s License
Open to new graduates who demonstrate strong work ethic, professionalism, and meeting other stated requirements.
