Medical Assistant Positions Available

Medical Assistant – Traverse City, MI (Full-Time)

We are searching for a hard-working, personable Medical Assistant for our Traverse City office. This position requires the candidate to travel to some of our other clinic locations to support coverage.

Salary & Compensation

  • Base wage: $16.50/hour
  • Eligibility for additional compensation based on:
    • Experience
    • Certification
    • Educational attainment
  • Productivity bonus potential: Up to $200/month on top of base wage

  • Prepare patient exam rooms
  • Start patient visits
  • Review medical history
  • Take and record vitals
  • Update and maintain electronic medical records
  • Assist with office procedures
  • Problem-solve patient concerns (both in person and via phone)
  • Ensure timely follow-up for orders, referrals, and prior authorizations

You will work closely with healthcare staff and contribute to a client-centered patient experience.


Job Details

  • Position type: Full-time
  • Hourly rate: $16.50 – $19.10/hour
  • Expected weekly hours: 40
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (day shift) with weekend availability as needed
  • Location: In-person, Traverse City, MI (relocation required before starting)

  • Computer proficiency (EMR systems, data handling, etc.)

Preferred (but not required)-

  • 1+ year of medical office, patient care, or EMR system experience
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
  • Valid Driver’s License

Open to new graduates who demonstrate strong work ethic, professionalism, and meeting other stated requirements.
