The Ascendion Health Scribe team is seeking a detail-oriented and accredited Clinical Coder to support our healthcare AI initiatives. In this role, you will review clinical documentation and accurately assign ICD-10 (UK edition) and OPCS-4 codes to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance with NHS coding standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health information management, Nursing, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in ICD-10 and/or OPCS-4 clinical coding.
  • Active clinical coding accreditation (e.g., Accredited Clinical Coder (ACC) status via NHS Digital, or equivalent).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
