Overview
As a Medical Copywriter working for Langland, you will be responsible for translating scientific language into compelling, emotive copy for a range of medical audiences.
In this role you will hone your craft and develop your skills, pushing yourself and those around you to achieve excellence. You will actively engage in client presentations and wider agency initiatives, taking responsibility for a range of tasks and projects. You will enjoy being central to the success of your accounts.
You should have strong scientific knowledge, a love of writing, and a passion for healthcare.
Responsibilities
Demonstrates best practice in the medical copywriting team Writes persuasive copy for multiple formats and channels Delivers channel- and tone-appropriate copy for all audiences and media types Translates scientific product data into compelling promotional stories; finds stories in data and tells them in concise language Writes to creative themes and applies relevant tones of voice Crafts story flows with purpose Ensures medical accuracy and quality of written communications for assigned accounts Maintains suitable quality control levels Creates reference packs for materials; is confident and capable working with Veeva Vault PromoMats or ZincMaps approval processes Works with copywriters, art directors and designers to inform development of accurate, engaging creative work Understands tactical proposals and user journeys/experiences through promotional content Confidently presents to clients and colleagues in formal and informal settings; actively contributes to medical-related discussions with clients Qualifications

Experience in a Medical Writer/Copywriter role, demonstrating high scientific and copywriting standards A solid scientific background (you should hold at least a bachelor’s degree in the life sciences) Experience in healthcare advertising is preferred, along with a good understanding of ABPI regulations
