Study Physician – UK or Germany (EMEA Region)
About the Role
Parexel is seeking an experienced Study Physician to join our team in the UK or Germany, dedicated to one of our key EMEA sponsors.
As a Study Physician, you will provide medical oversight and expertise throughout the clinical trial lifecycle—from Trial Design Outline to Clinical Trial Report. This is a core medical role within the trial team, ensuring compliance, quality, and medical integrity.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Lead medically responsible duties during clinical trial phases, including:
- Preparing high-quality clinical trial protocols with minimal amendments
- Co-authoring Clinical Quality Monitoring (CQM) plans
- Conducting ongoing medical data reviews
- Contributing to risk-based quality management, including defining medically relevant risks and data

✔ Support timely trial processes while maintaining strict regulatory compliance (e.g., ICH-GCP guidance).
Requirements
Essential
- Qualified Physician (MD) with:
- Medical thesis or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 4 years of active clinical practice
- Clinical specialisation in one of the following (highly desirable):
- Pulmonology
- Immunology
- Internal Medicine
- Infectious Diseases
- Family Medicine
- Pediatrics
- Rheumatology
- Emergency Medicine

Preferred
✔ Industry experience, including:
- Pharma or CRO roles (medical, project management, or pharmacovigilance—preferably within Clinical Development)
- Medical Monitor experience ✔ Proficiency in ICH-GCP regulations and global clinical trial processes ✔ Familiarity with data visualisation systems and clinical trial IT platforms
