Medical Education Program Manager – Emergency Care Business (EMEA)
About the Role
As Medical Education Program Manager for Stryker’s Emergency Care Business in EMEA, you will manage the strategy, planning, and execution of Healthcare Professionals’ (HCPs) educational programs. This includes symposia, course trainings, product trainings, workshops, and reference site programs, in partnership with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Curriculum development
- Supporting in-person and online learning programs
- Identifying, developing, engaging, and partnering with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
- Supporting high-quality medical education initiatives

Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Kickstart through familiarization with product and clinical training practices, internal/external stakeholder partnerships, and portfolio learning.
- Align with market positioning and competitive landscape analysis.
- Develop and execute medical education strategy, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals:
- Own medical education strategy and annual medical education planning.
- Create and manage educational programs, including:
- Curriculum/program development
- Designing on-demand and live educational content (surmoltip: in various formats, such as in-person, virtual and hybrid programs)
- Curriculum execution, using input from HCPs.
- Budget management, prioritization, and investment steering.
- Handle various communication channels (e.g., content creation, strategy formulation) across diverse stakeholders.
- Lead project and program management for medical education initiatives by collaborating daily (internally) with Medical Education, Sales Education, Events, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and external partners.
- Technically lead HCP training programs while leveraging KOLs, clinical colleagues, SMEs, and other specialized stakeholders.
- Execute medical education programs with hands-on, direct engagement whenever necessary.
- Develop and employ KOL engagement and development programs to drive excellence in medical education.
- Implement new Medical Education branding and uphold standard excellence in the healthcare industry.
- Assess needs and priorities for the upcoming medical education platform.
- Evaluate effectiveness of educational activities and plan subsequent enhancements.
- Mentor teams internally to effectively execute the education strategy.
- Stay updated on industry trends and clinical advancements to continually refine and enhance Stryker’s medical education offering.

Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 8+ years’ experience in developing/running medical or technological education programs or in relevant industries (e.g., MedTech, BioTech, Pharmaceuticals).
- Strong organizational ability, with adequate project/initiative management skills across multiple regions to ensure results on time.
- Analytical and strategic thinking, adaptable, tactically flexible with problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English, with excellent interpersonal communication skills and strong presentation abilities.
- A sophisticated networker and relationship builder who can develop strong connections internally and externally.
- Ability to understand and collaborate with diverse market and cultural stakeholders.
- Adept at independent project initiation while functioning effectively in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
- Capable of navigating complex interdivisional processes and policies professionally and ethically.
- Reliability and integrity in handling confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel internationally (up to 40% of the time).

Preferred
- Relevant marketing, sales or clinical experience (e.g., nurse, paramedic) adds significant value.
- A Master’s or MBA background will be favourably considered.

Compensation Range (Italy --based role)
€58,100 – €96,800 annual salary (before tax).
Stryker emphasizes pay transparency with intent to guide candidates’ decision-making. While base salary is noted, other compensation elements (e.g. bonus, benefits package) apply, depending on role specs.
