Overall Earnings: Circa £50,000
- Basic Salary: £40,000 to £44,000

About the Role
This market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer-focused Medical Field Service Engineer, responsible for:
- The service, installation, breakdown, repair, and calibration of a wide range of sophisticated medical laboratory diagnostics systems, utilized within pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments
- Supporting clinical chemistry and blood diagnostics products located at customer sites
Responsibilities
Provide technical support, installation, maintenance, breakdown, repair, and calibration of:
- Laboratory diagnostics systems
- Pathology devices in various healthcare settings

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate:
- A competent background in customer-facing field service engineering obtained in a high-value capital equipment environment.
- Experience in field service engineering from a broad range of sectors, including:
- Laboratory device engineering
- Medical device engineering
- Pharmaceutical device engineering
- Former ex-forces engineers (especially those with medical, dental, weapons systems, and radar expertise)
- Electronics/electro-mechanical engineering
- Products may include autoimmune diagnostics, immunology, biochemistry, haematology, histology, microbiology, and immunodiagnostics systems
Ensuring you have:
- A qualification in engineering, electronics, or a science-based subject to a minimum of ONC level, City & Guilds, or NVQ level.
- Willingness to undergo full and comprehensive product training (open to applicants from diverse backgrounds).
