Compensation & Benefits
- Overall Earnings: £50,000 per annum (approx.)
- Base Salary: £40,000 - £44,000
- Performance Bonus: 10%

The Role
A leading market player and innovator in medical diagnostics is seeking to recruit a technically motivated and customer-focused Medical Field Service Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, installation, breakdown, repair and calibration of sophisticated pathology laboratory diagnostics systems
- Support for clinical chemistry and blood diagnostics products within pathology departments, NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Completion of a qualification in engineering, electronics, or a science-based subject (minimum ONC/Ordinary National Certificate, City & Guilds, or NVQ standard)
Desired Experience
- Field service engineering experience in high-value environments such as:
- Laboratory devices
- Medical device diagnostics (e.g., autoimmune diagnostics, immunology, biochemistry, haematology, histology, microbiology, immunodiagnostics systems)
- Pharmaceutical devices
- Former military engineers (including medical/dental units, weapons systems, or radar specialisations)
- Electronic or electromechanical engineering sectors
