Join Wrexham AFC - Because History Doesn’t Write Itself

Wrexham AFC are delighted to offer paid internships for the 2026 / 27 season.

We truly believe in the power of potential — and there’s nothing more rewarding than helping the next generation find their feet and flourish. As our club continues to grow and strive to make our community proud, we’re excited to open our doors to passionate, driven people who want to be part of that journey. This is a chance to gain meaningful, hands-on experience, build confidence, and take those all-important first steps toward a bright and successful future.

These placements are designed for students who have recently completed a relevant degree or those undertaking a required “year in industry” as part of their course — ready to turn their knowledge into real impact while growing alongside us.

This placement is subject to an enhanced DBS check (with Children’s Barred list).

The Role

This is a full-time season-long internship aimed to provide support for the day-to-day operations of the Medical Performance and Sports Science department at Wrexham AFC. You will mainly be based at Colliers Park, Training Centre alongside the club's Men's Team Squad. This paid, exclusive internship provides an opportunity to work in elite sport, develop medical skills, work within a high-performance MDT and contribute to the team’s overall function.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
