Medical Manager
Medical Sector Manager | Warwick
Our client’s medical and scientific sector team is currently experiencing exceptional growth, driven by a surge in exciting long-term project opportunities.
About the Role
You will collaborate with a team of outstanding professionals to shape and execute our marketing strategy for the medical and scientific sector. This role includes:
- Presenting to prospective clients
- Developing comprehensive cost proposals
- Building lasting relationships with key strategic partners
You’ll be responsible for:
- Planning and managing a diverse portfolio of innovative and technically complex medical product development projects
- Serving as the technical lead on these initiatives, often within tight timelines and budget constraints
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver successful medical product development projects within the ISO 13485 quality framework
- Balance quality, cost, time, and risk to meet project objectives
- Plan, scope, and manage the financial and commercial elements of projects
- Leading technical execution
- Overseeing team selection and coordination
- Managing budgets and timelines
- Collaborating with the client’s project team
- Lead, support, and review the work of a multi-disciplinary project team, ensuring:
- High standards
- Alignment with project goals

Required Experience & Skills
Core Technical Requirements
- Extensive experience in medical product development projects, ideally in a consultancy setting
- Proficient in Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools and computational methods
- Expertise in designing medical and scientific solutions using advanced manufacturing processes and materials

Provable Successes
- Strong track record in delivering high-impact medical development projects
- Experience steering multi-disciplinary medical projects with client engagement and relationship management
Education
- First-Class or Upper Second-Class degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics
- Design Engineering
- From a university with a strong engineering pedigree
- Or an equivalent technical qualification
