Medical Personal Assistant – Specialist Private Clinic
£35,000-£40,000 per annum plus Annual Bonus, Private Pension Scheme & More
London, Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days WFH)

Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading private clinic, located in London, who specialise in fertility treatments. Our client is dedicated to fertility and all aspects of women's health and are devoted to providing bespoke holistic care to their patients. They have carefully designed their clinic to have a private yet welcoming feel, and they pride themselves on their individual approach.
Due to the growth of the business, we are currently in search for an experienced Medical Personal Assistant to join their team to provide efficient secretarial support to one of their Fertility Consultants.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and professional individual who has previous experience working as a PA/Medical Secretary/Executive Assistant in the healthcare sector, with a strong administration/secretarial background. The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills, be efficient and organised. There is a lot of patient contact that comes with this position, so we are looking for polite, professional and proactive individuals who are able to handle sensitive matters.

You will work as a part of their dedicated and close-knit team of PA’s, and will have a number of responsibilities including:
- The organisation and management of the Consultant’s diary to ensure the smooth running of their workload and schedule
- Typing clinic and procedure related documents
- The organisation and scheduling of procedure lists
- Acting as first point of contact for patients
- Handling telephone and email enquiries
- Chasing test results
- Booking and amending patient’s appointments
This is a full-time permanent position consisting of 40 hours per week, which will be worked 8 hours per day Monday to Friday, with no weekend requirement.
Hybrid working is available with 3 days required in office, with 2 days working from home. Please only apply to this position if you are able to commute to London 3 days per week.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a healthcare setting
- Experience working within Fertility or Women’s Health Setting will be highly advantageous
- Strong administration/PA background
- Excellent time keeping
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised, detail-orientated and analytical
- Trustworthy and strong understanding of confidentiality
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and other systems
- Excellent patient care
