Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a Medical Records Courier (Band 2) to join our busy Medical Records Department based in Yeovil. This is an important operational role providing essential support to clinical services and helping to ensure patient records are available at the right place and at the right time.

The Medical Records Courier will be based at our office on Artillery Road, Yeovil. The role is for 22.5 hours per week, worked flexibly over Monday to Friday in accordance with the needs of the department, which operates between 6:00am and 6:00pm. The post holder will also participate in a 1 in 3 weekend rota, working 8:15am to 12:00 noon, with these hours forming part of the contracted weekly hours.

Key Responsibilities
- Play a key role in supporting the safe and effective care of our patients.
- Manage the timely and secure transportation of medical records between the Medical Records department and Yeovil Hospital.
- Ensure records are handled with confidentiality, accuracy, and care at all times.
