Team Leader | Medical Records | Warrington | Private Hospital | Full time

Permanent | 37.5 hours | £25,956 per annum plus excellent benefits

Spire Cheshire Hospital, Warrington is currently looking to recruit for an experienced Team Leader on a full time and permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and have a great impact.

Permanent, Full time

Working hours

Department operates from 7am - 6pm Monday- Friday, with a range of shifts i.e. 7 am-3 pm, 8 am-4 pm etc.

Job Role

As Medical Records Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and timely records process, ensuring that regulatory compliance is maintained in the management of all patient records including request for patient records from external bodies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing individual performance focusing on empowering team members, supporting the development of customer service skills, arranging any necessary training.
  • Manage staffing levels to ensure resources are allocated effectively in line with the needs of the business.
  • Empower team members to look for opportunities to exceed customer’s expectations balanced against caring for results.
  • Maintain a professional, courteous and effective manner when dealing with all our customers; patients, visitors, Consultants, medical secretaries and hospital colleagues to provide a first class service.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
  • Good written skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator at all levels.
  • Highly proactive, a strong team player with strong customer service ethic and good interpersonal skills.
  • Highly computer literate.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to work under own initiative with diplomacy, confidentiality and tact.
  • Experience of analysing and interpreting data and producing reports.
  • Experience of managing a team.
