PERMANENT 36 hrs (Monday to Friday)
To provide a comprehensive, confidential, efficient, and high-quality secretarial service to Medical Staff within the Medical Secretarial Team.
You will be required to undertake a wide range of secretarial and administrative duties. You will transcribe confidential patient information using a voice recognition system, in conjunction with other hospital systems.
Requirements
- Possess the appropriate secretarial/administration qualifications or equivalent/training experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Excellent keyboard skills.

NHS Scotland Boards will check your entitlement to work in the UK as part of the pre-employment checks for a preferred candidate. It can be evidenced through a number of routes including specific types of visa as well as EU settled and pre-settled status. For specific types of post, if you do not have the necessary eligibility to work in the UK, it might be possible (though not guaranteed) to secure sponsorship via a UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa.
