Job Opportunity: Postal Team Member
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to be part of our dynamic medical services postal team. We have a proven NHS background and are committed to providing excellent service to our customers for over 30 years.
About the Role
- Sorting Post: Received from GPs and Hospitals, sorting it into pigeonholes, and bagging this up for the surgeries in the morning.
- Delivery: The bags are then delivered by MTS during the day.
- Franking Post: Afternoon is taken up with franking post from DHC sites to be collected by the MTS driving team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, sort and collate post.
- Operate the franking machine to a high standard without supervision.
- Report for duty to commence duties as detailed.
- Escalating any problems to the Head of Dorset Post.
- Complete daily checks on the post room vehicle and to make sure any defects are recorded reported.
- Drive the post room vehicle when required by the Head of Dorset Post within the Dorset Health Care area.
- Ensure the office is kept clean and tidy on a daily basis.
- Ensure journey records are maintained correctly and handed in as required.
- Undertake any other work as directed by the Head of Dorset Post as required.
- Maintain driving compliance with the Road Traffic regulations.
- Promote equality and diversity.
