Job Description
As a Medical Writer, you will use your clinical expertise to create high-quality, evidence-based materials that support external education and demonstrate the value of innovative medical technologies. This role offers the opportunity to shape how clinical evidence is translated into meaningful education for physicians across EMEA. You will focus on developing clear, engaging presentations and training resources that explain clinical applications in a way that is easy to understand and apply in practice.
The position also plays an important role in supporting Train-the-Trainer initiatives, ensuring that healthcare professionals feel confident delivering educational sessions in their local markets. Working closely with Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to data-driven storytelling and ensure that all content meets medical, scientific, and compliance standards.
The role reports to the Senior Director, Medical Affairs EMEA for 6 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality educational materials, including presentations, training decks, and supporting resources
- Review and approve medical content to ensure alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Support Train-the-Trainer programs by enabling clear communication of clinical content to physicians
- Work with data analysts to ensure external materials present clinically relevant and interpretable data
- Build compelling, evidence-based narratives that strengthen the impact of educational content
- Translate complex scientific literature into concise, practical insights for education purposes
- Maintain a structured and searchable reference library of clinical evidence and materials
- Contribute to initiatives that demonstrate the clinical value and application of medical technologies
Preferred Requirements
- Medical degree at Master’s level, ideally in anaesthesiology or intensive care, or a closely related clinical field
- Around two to three years of experience in a related role within medical or scientific environments
- Strong understanding of clinical and scientific principles, with the ability to apply them to real-world use
- Experience creating clear, engaging educational materials for diverse audiences
- Proven ability to analyse, evaluate, and synthesise scientific literature into meaningful insights
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of additional European languages is an advantage, along with a willingness to travel across EMEA.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
