About the Role

We are seeking a Medical Writer to join our team based in London, Manchester, or UK remote. Reporting to senior scientific leads, you’ll develop medical affairs and publications content across three distinct workstreams.

Skills Required

You will bring:

  • Experience or interest in rare disease therapy areas
  • A proven ability to develop content tailored to various medical audiences
  • Independence to produce materials of exceptional quality, with minimal internal review
  • Strong quality control skills, covering:
    • Consistency in scientific writing
    • Grammar and comprehension
    • Proofreading standards
    • Visual and structural layout
  • Demonstrated ability to align content with client marketing strategies while maintaining high scientific credibility
  • A client-centric mindset, working closely on project goals, ensuring medical and marketing needs are met

Experience

We require:

  • Prior experience as a medical writer within a medical communications agency
  • A background in life sciences, endorsing by an academic qualification
