About The Employability Service
At ARU, you’ll have a friendly Employability Service by your side from your first term through to life after graduation.
We bring together specialist teams to help you explore your options, build confidence, and take practical steps toward the future you want.
What we do for you
- Careers advice and planning with qualified advisers, plus workshops and employer events to grow your skills and confidence.
- Practical help with job searching, CVs and applications, and interview and assessment centre preparation.
- Support if you’re on (or considering) a placement year, including help to understand the process and apply.
- Enterprise support through the Anglia Ruskin Enterprise Academy if you want to start a business or freelance.
- Opportunities and on campus roles via ARU Temps, our recruitment agency.
- Wider employer engagement through our dedicated teams.
