About the Role

Help us shape the future of Holiday Inn London – Camden Lock as it transforms into the new voco London Camden Lock! As our Meetings & Events Sales Executive, you’ll be the driving force behind creating unforgettable guest experiences, from corporate events to weddings and special celebrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive meetings and events revenue by converting enquiries into secured bookings
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients
  • Support the Commercial team in achieving sales targets and delivery plans
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including:
    • Weddings & private celebrations
    • Corporate events & conferences
    • Group bookings
  • Stay informed about industry trends and local market opportunities to maximise sales
  • Attend networking events, exhibitions and client meetings to generate new leads
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, from initial enquiry to event delivery
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless event execution
  • Act as an ambassador for voco London Camden Lock, promoting it as Camden’s premier meetings and events destination

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel Meetings & Events or hospitality sales (preferred but not essential)
  • Opera S&C experience is a plus
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive, customer-focused approach with a passion for sales
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
