We are recruiting for a Senior Event Manager to join our Meetings & Events Operations Team at The May Fair Hotel. As Senior Events Manager, you will be the driving force behind the seamless delivery of high-profile meetings, conferences, private dinners, luxury brand activations, and VIP events. You will lead the operational execution of events across our spaces, ensuring every detail reflects the hotel’s reputation for excellence.

You will collaborate closely with Sales, F&B, Front of House, and external partners to create unforgettable experiences for our guests and clients.

Overview:

  • Oversee end-to-end operational delivery of all M&E events, ensuring flawless execution and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the M&E Operations team, fostering a culture of service excellence and accountability.
  • Act as the primary operational contact for clients, ensuring their vision is understood, elevated, and delivered to the highest standard.
  • Maintain impeccable standards across event spaces, equipment, and service delivery, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and five-star expectations.
  • Support accurate forecasting, cost control, and event profitability through efficient planning and resource management.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the event lifecycle.

Overview:

  • Proven experience in luxury hotel events operations, ideally within a five-star environment.
  • A confident leader with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-profile events simultaneously.
  • A polished communicator with strong client-facing experience.
  • Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and committed to delivering excellence.
  • A passion for hospitality and a deep understanding of luxury service standards.
