Your Purpose
The Meetings & Events Night Manager is responsible for:
- Shifting management through evenings into the early hours
- Ensuring the highest standards of service delivery
- Oversights in food quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and operational profitability
- Promoting sustainable hospitality practices
Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as a visual presence in the Meetings and Events department.
- Oversee shift operations and allocate daily roles to team members.
- Represent the department at any relevant internal meetings.

Operational Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with opening/closing procedures and complete all company documentation.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards across departmental areas. -Manage operational stock levels and place required orders.
- Monitor daily/upcoming business in the department and across the resort.
Guest & Team Oversight:
- Communication must be correct, clear, and professional with all colleagues.
- Foster a guest-centric culture, ensuring consistency throughout the team.
- Handle all guest requests with precision, ensuring orders are taken and executed accurately.
Sales & Financial Accountability:
- Addresses guest issues/complaints appropriately and informs the Banqueting Manager of actions taken.
- Proactively identify upsell opportunities to enhance revenue generation.
- Be accountable for financial transactions, monies, and payments during shifts.
Team & Department Leadership:
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to brief the team.
- Provide familiarity with menus, wine lists, and bar menus.
Qualifications
Experience & Certifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in luxury or high-volume environments.
- Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage qualification is highly preferred.
- Additional certifications in Food & Beverage will be a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in not only restaurant and banquet service, but also clear operational coordination.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience with a track record of results.
