MEICA Supervisor
MEICA Supervisor – pozice vedoucího v oblasti mechaniky, elektrickélegung a civilního inženýrství
We are seeking 3 MEICA Supervisors to provide critical technical support across mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering projects within the water and wastewater sector.
In this role, you will deliver essential technical expertise to supervise engineering activities, ensuring projects meet safety, efficiency, and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure MEICA activities are executed safely, on-specification, and within time and budget constraints.
- Working closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and operational stakeholders to maintain asset performance and deliver seamless capital and operational projects.

What We’re Looking For
The MEICA Supervisor ensures the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation works across clean water treatment works, pumping stations, and network assets. This role involves adhering to regulatory, technical, and quality standards, while supporting operational resilience and customer service excellence.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in the water sector.
- Technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or civil engineering systems in water/wastewater applications.
- Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes, pumping systems, pipe networks, and WIMES/client standards.
- Familiarity with construction, commissioning, and handover processes, including:
- Pressure testing
- Cable testing
Required Skills & Experience
Responsibilities in MEICA Focus Areas
- Strong background in MEICA/EICA installation, maintenance, or supervision within water/utilities.
- Technical expertise in:
- WIMES systems
- Clean water treatment processes
- Low-voltage (LV) switchgear
- Motor control centres (MCCs), pumps, valves
- Instrumentation, control systems (ICA), and telemetry

Safety & Qualifications
- SSSTS (Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme) & SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- EUSR Water Hygiene certification
- Working knowledge of CDM (Construction Design & Management) regulations
- (Advantageous) COMPEX/DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations) awareness
Skills & Qualifications (Desirable)
- NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) or equivalent
- BS7671:2018 18th Edition (IET Wiring Regulations) for LV installations [or equivalent]
- C&G 2391-52 (-electrotechnical qualification) or equivalent
Leadership & Delivery
- Ability to lead engineering teams, coordinate subcontractors, and resolve on-site challenges.
- Strong communication skills to collaboratively ensure project success.
Travel & Compliance
- Full UK driving license (requirement due to travel to operational sites across Southern England).
