Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Melt Supervisor, the Team Leader is responsible for the supervision of production on site, ensuring a safe working environment and satisfying all customer demands.
Role Responsibilities:
- Guarantee a safe working environment
- Ensure all production processes conform to current quality standards
- Manufacture parts in time to satisfy customer demand
- Strive to improve production processes
- Facilitate root cause analysis of non-conforming production and implement corrective actions
- Daily organisation of Melt Operators
- Complete performance reviews to improve team performance and flexibility
- Monitor team performance via KPI’s and OEE
- Maintain metal chemistry as per specification
- Training of new employees as required
- Experience of Disciplinaries and Investigations
- Experience in PDR’s, PIP’s and Absence management
- Promote the company's HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all Health and Safety environmental requirements

EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
- Proven Production team leader experience
- Experience of problem solving
- Use of 5S to improve production environment
- Proven melt and casting experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft (Excel, Word etc.)
- Use of KPI’s to track performance
Desirable:
- Experience within castings sector
- IOSH Qualification

- Work collaboratively to achieve project/company goals
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good communicator both written and verbal

- Valid Driving Licence
