About StudentVenture
StudentVenture is backing the next generation of founders. We're building the largest student accelerator programme in the UK designed to help ambitious early-stage founders turn ideas into scalable businesses. The programme will give founders access to experienced operators, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry specialists who can help them validate ideas, develop products, secure customers, and prepare for growth.
We are seeking experienced founders, executives, investors, and industry experts to join the Advisory Board. Advisory Board members will help shape the accelerator programme while providing practical guidance to founders across sectors including technology, renewable energy, consumer products, education, talent, marketplaces, and software.
The Role
StudentVenture is seeking experienced tech entrepreneurs, marketplace operators, and second- or third-time founders to join our Advisory Board.
You will contribute your experience to help founders build stronger businesses. This is an opportunity to influence the development of a new founder ecosystem and support high-potential entrepreneurs at the earliest stages of their journeys.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
