Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Membership Advisor role based at the Everyone Active facility in Market Harborough. The Membership Advisor will promote and sell leisure memberships, respond to membership inquiries, and guide prospective customers through the joining process. Daily tasks include:

  • Welcoming and engaging visitors
  • Providing information on membership options and facilities
  • Supporting customers with account queries and changes
  • Handling sales leads
  • Conducting tours of the facility
  • Following up with prospects to maximize membership conversions and retention

The role involves working closely with the wider team to ensure excellent customer service, accurate membership administration, and a positive experience for all members.

Qualifications

  • Strong Membership Sales and Sales skills, with the ability to meet targets and convert inquiries into memberships.
  • Experience working with Membership processes, including sign-ups, renewals, and member retention activities.
  • Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills, with a friendly, professional approach to engaging visitors and members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy leisure or retail environment, including evening and weekend shifts as required.
  • Basic IT proficiency and confidence using membership or CRM systems.
  • Previous experience in leisure, fitness, hospitality, or a customer-facing sales role is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team, take initiative, and maintain accurate records.
  • Interest in health, fitness, or community leisure services is an advantage.
