Membership Registrations Coordinator

Professional Membership Organisation – Engineering Sector

Central London (Hybrid – 2 days office, 3 days home)

£30,000–£32,000 + excellent benefits including 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, birthday leave, a generous pension scheme, and a close-knit, supportive culture with regular summer and winter social events

Our client, a respected and well-established professional membership organisation in the engineering sector, is looking to recruit an organised and proactive Membership Registrations Coordinator to join their Membership and Professional Standards team.

The Role of Membership Registrations Coordinator

Reporting to the Membership & Professional Standards Manager, you will play a key role in supporting membership services, professional registration activities, and member engagement. You will coordinate membership applications, professional registration processes, and member communications, whilst providing administrative support to regional volunteer groups and helping deliver an engaging programme of member webinars. The role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities whilst delivering a first-class service to members and stakeholders.

Person Specification

  • Experience working within a membership organisation, professional body, charity, institute, or customer-focused administrative environment.
  • Experience supporting membership, registrations, customer service, or membership administration would be highly desirable.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, including CRM databases, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident working with members, volunteers, and a range of stakeholders.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • A proactive, friendly, and customer-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience supporting professional registration or accreditation processes would be advantageous but is not essential.
