Host (Membership & Front Desk) – Everlast Gyms
Company Description
As a Host at Everlast Gyms, you’ll be the first friendly face our members see when they walk through the door. More than just reception, this is a member-facing sales and service role where you’ll play a key part in driving memberships, supporting retention, and ensuring every visitor feels welcome. You’ll also take on key holder responsibilities, contribute to club operations, and support the wider team in delivering an exceptional member journey.
Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming members and guests, ensuring every interaction is positive and professional.
- Supporting membership sales and retention by providing excellent service and guidance.
- Driving secondary spend KPIs by promoting products and services available in-club.
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the club.
- Acting as a competent key holder, including opening and closing the club as required.
- Handling administrative duties, including managing the membership software system.
- Staying informed about fitness challenges, classes, and gym floor focuses, actively participating to promote engagement.
- Supporting the Fitness Manager and wider team in delivering gym floor initiatives.
- Ensuring member feedback and complaints are handled professionally and escalated when needed.
- Actively experiencing the products and services offered to confidently recommend them to members.

Requirements
About You
- Outgoing, positive, and passionate about delivering great customer experiences.
- Confident in administration, able to handle day-to-day club systems.
- Sales-focused, with the drive to hit membership and retention targets.
- Flexible and adaptable, ready to work varied shifts and take on operational/key holder duties.
- Passionate about fitness, with a genuine interest in our products and services.
- Ambitious, with a willingness to learn and develop for future progression.
