About the Role
Murray McIntosh is delighted to be supporting Scottish Renewables in the recruitment of a Membership Officer. This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to join a growing membership team at the heart of Scotland's renewable energy sector. Reporting to the Membership Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering an excellent membership experience by supporting member engagement, retention and day-to-day membership operations.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to some of the most influential organisations, events and stakeholders shaping Scotland's renewable energy industry.
Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for providing high-quality administrative, coordination and engagement support to members, ensuring they receive a professional and positive experience throughout their membership journey. The role will involve maintaining membership records and CRM systems, responding to member enquiries, coordinating renewals and onboarding activities, and supporting networking opportunities and events.

About You
This role would suit a confident and personable individual who enjoys meeting new people, building long-term relationships and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders. We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Experience maintaining CRM systems, databases or records.
- The ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- A proactive, self-starting approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Experience within a membership organisation, trade association, customer-focused environment, hospitality setting, events role or stakeholder-facing position would be advantageous. Experience supporting networking activities or events would also be beneficial.
