CPI Clothing, an independent, dynamic menswear lead design and manufacturing business based in East London, is looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, Menswear Designer with a genuine passion for commercial design.

This is not an entry level, graduate position. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years menswear design experience and must currently be based in the UK with the legal right to work.

What CPI are looking for:

  • Degree in fashion design.
  • A minimum of 3 years commercial, FT menswear design experience.
  • Having experience of designing and developing menswear product across one or more product categories with the ability to focus on the market, brand, and customer.
  • Ability to create CAD's, presentation boards, and detailed technical packs.
  • Be able to manage assigned customer and brand accounts, building strong working relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout the design and development process.
  • Experience of working closely with overseas factories throughout the sampling and development process.
  • An excellent eye for trend colour and style and able to interpret into commercial design.
  • Maintaining product and client information, critical paths, and design documentation.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and willing to use Microsoft excel.
  • A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to support the business.
