Are you an experienced administrator with a passion for maintaining high standards and an eye for detail - ideally with knowledge of the Mental Health Act or a qualification in it - looking for a new challenge? If so, join Chadwick Lodge as a Mental Health Act and Compliance Administrator.

About the Role

As the Mental Health Act and Compliance Administrator you will work as part of the administration team at a medium and low secure services providing specialist treatment programmes for service users who have been detained under the Mental Health Act (1983) and have a history of offending behaviour.

You will work 37.5 hours. In this role, you’ll ensure full compliance with the Mental Health Act and related legislation, safeguarding the rights and interests of our service users at every stage. You’ll manage key documentation and processes linked to detention, consent, appeals and statutory reporting, while maintaining accurate records and supporting the smooth running of meetings and multidisciplinary communication.

Alongside this, you’ll assist with the governance and compliance activity across the hospital including coordination of policy and protocol implementation, working with data and dashboards to monitor compliance and produce quality reports for internal and external stakeholders. This role also includes minuting meetings and providing general administrative support to the wider team as needed.

You will liaise with clinicians, allied professionals, service users, their families, legal representatives, commissioners and official agencies, receiving and responding to enquiries and requests for information in accordance with company policy, service level agreements and statutory regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all necessary paperwork, such as consent to treatment forms and detention renewals, is completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordination of mental health tribunals and hearings and ensuring service user rights are upheld, liaising with Advocacy and Legal Services as needed.
  • Completion of audits and maintaining the audit trail ensuring up-to-date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required.
  • Assisting with compliance and quality administration including maintaining records, databases and trackers, collating and analysing data, producing reports, and co-ordinating the effective implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with contractual, regulatory, and other reporting; managing competing tasks and priorities whilst working to deadlines.
  • Organising and servicing meetings ensuring the effective and timely production, collation and distribution of reports, minutes or other relevant documentation and monitoring the completion of action points through action trackers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
