Exciting Opportunity for a Band 6 Fixed Term Contract
An exciting opportunity as arisen for a Band 6 fixed term contract within the Neighbourhood Mental Health Service. The post holder will undertake a key worker role, alongside an assessment and formulation role within the team.
About the Role
The Neighbourhood Mental Health Service will enable timely access to mental health services when people need it most and provide support for people who might not traditionally meet the threshold or criteria of existing mental health services. The team will be multidisciplinary and will also include third sector organizations. The areas that this team will cover is the whole of the Wigan Borough.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience of triaging and signposting referrals
- Liaising with a multitude of agencies and professionals
- Experience and knowledge of community services and third sector organizations in Wigan
About the Service
Wigan Neighbourhood Mental Health Service will be compassionately led, trauma informed, and recovery focused. We will also be developing peer mentor opportunities for people who have been through the service. CPD opportunities are available and personal interests/skills will be supported to develop and grow.
