About The Role
Ready to make a meaningful difference to the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people? Join our Specialist Team and help shape brighter futures.
As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based mental health support to children and young people within educational settings. Working as part of our Specialist Team, you will provide tailored one-to-one and group interventions for young people who may require additional adjustments to access support, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and those affected by adverse childhood experiences.
You will undertake assessments, manage risk appropriately, and work collaboratively with children, young people, families, schools, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes. Alongside direct intervention work, you will support education staff through advice, guidance, and consultation, helping to promote a whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and innovative service where your expertise, compassion, and commitment can make a lasting impact on the lives of young people.
About You
You will be a suitably qualified Mental Health Practitioner, such as a Mental Health Nurse or CYP IAPT Practitioner, with experience supporting children, young people, and families.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
