Mental Health Recovery Worker (Female Only)
Location: 142 Dickenson Road, Manchester M14 5HT
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 9am-5pm (Comfortable working on a 6-day rota Monday-Saturday, and taking part in on-call duties (receive a day back in TOIL for Saturday's shifts)).
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,877.80 - £30,868.31 per annum
Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. Starting salaries depend on experience and progression within the band.

About the Role
We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Recovery Worker to join our Women’s Supported Housing Service in Manchester. You’ll play a key role in helping women maintain their tenancies, develop life skills, and thrive in their community.

What You’ll Do
- Support women in developing personal recovery and support plans to achieve their goals and aspirations.
- Promote independence through practical help with daily living, tenancy management, budgeting, and personal development.
- Encourage access to education, employment, training, and leisure opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case notes using our IT systems.
- Liaise with GPs, local councils, and community organisations to ensure holistic support.
- Help promote the service within the local community.
To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need to Be:
- Experienced in the mental health or social care field.
- Compassionate, consistent, and flexible in their approach.
- A great communicator who can build trust and rapport with people from all walks of life.
- Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Comfortable working on a 6-day rota Monday-Saturday, and taking part in on-call duties (receive a day back in TOIL if worked Saturday shift).
- Passionate about breaking down stigma and empowering others to lead fulfilling lives.
