An Exciting Opportunity in Warrington CYPMHS Team
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Warrington CYPMHS team (child and adolescent mental health services) for an experienced/skilled and passionate specialist practitioner to support the mental health of children and young people with ASC / LD.
Role Responsibilities
As a specialist practitioner, you will be responsible for:
- Leading multi-agency plans to support CYP.
- Delivering therapeutic intervention to meet the needs of CYP and completing appropriate safety plans.
- Developing and supporting local pathways of care and support.
- Evaluating services and training to the wider system.
- Offering consultation, which includes working with CSC, Education, and third sector organizations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Specialist Mental Health Practitioner, the post holder will:
- Provide a specialized role in the development and implementation of services and care pathways for children and young people with mental health [CYPMH] and Learning Disability / Autistic Spectrum Conditions [ASC] problems within the THRIVE Framework for service delivery.
- Provide specialist interventions, advice, consultancy, and supervision to both colleagues and colleagues within external partner agencies in line with THRIVE.
- Demonstrate an attitude which respects and values service users’ and their carers.
- Embrace the core values of the organization and adopt the principles of Recovery and THRIVE.
