Part-time Day Shifts: 27.5 hours per week
Salary & Working Conditions
Salary:
- £13.45 per hour (standard)
- Overtime: £14.95 per hour Shift times: 8am - 9pm (with 1 in 2 weeks off)
Important Information
Right to Work Requirement: Applicants must have a minimum of 18 months’ right to work in the UK from the start date. Visa sponsorship is not available.
About the Role
Active Pathways Ltd is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to join the team at Brook House, a 13-bed supported living service in Clayton-le-Woods. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with:
- Mental health needs
- Learning disabilities
- Autism
With 24-hour staffing and a multidisciplinary team, Brook House focuses on empowering residents to achieve independence and foster recovery.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will:
- Provide person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.
- Help residents develop independent living skills and set personal goals.
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to build strong relationships.
- Offer emotional and practical support to residents.
- Encourage meaningful activities and ensure social inclusion.
- Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and community opportunities.
- Promote independence and self-confidence to help residents regain control of their lives.

Essential Experience & Skills
- Experience within mental health or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
- Strong ability to build rapport with residents and colleagues.
- Understanding of person-centred care values.
