Join Our Team as a Mental Health Support Worker

Location: Albany House, Stratford Upon Avon

🔹 Enhancement Payments: £50 per sleep-in shift (8 hours), £0.86 per unsocial hour, 1.5x hourly rate for Bank Holiday shifts


About Albany House

Albany House is a small, CQC-registered service supporting up to eight people with severe and enduring mental illness. We create a warm, recovery-focused environment where individuals can:

  • Build confidence
  • Develop daily living skills
  • Manage finances
  • Progress towards goals like education, training, or employment

Our mission: To empower each person to move forward at their own pace and live a more independent, fulfilling life.


What You’ll Do

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in our team:

  • Provide one-to-one key-worker support, building strong, professional relationships
  • Conduct assessments and develop personalised support and safety plans
  • Encourage mental and physical wellbeing practices
  • Support with daily living skills, such as self-care, cooking, and budgeting
  • Help individuals access community services
  • Collaborate with mental health agencies, professionals, and local groups
  • Lead safeguarding efforts and maintain a safe, supportive environment
  • Keep detailed records, monitor progress, and share updates with the team
  • Contribute to service improvements through feedback and teamwork
