They are on the hunt for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to make a profound impact on their students. The school is based in Oxford and the position is to start ASAP. The school can also accommodate a September start.

What you'll do as a Mental Health Assistant:

As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment while ensuring that all students receive the individualized guidance they need to thrive in the classroom.

During your work as a mental health teaching assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with students aged 4 to 16 - a great opportunity to support a variety of ages!

  • You will engage with them and help the class teacher deliver tailored support and guidance based on their individual and unique learning requirements.
  • Your job will be to inspire and motivate the students while also building on their confidence.
  • You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the class teacher and help to implement strategies and interventions that will promote not only their academic growth but also their confidence and ability to overcome challenges.
  • While working as a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will benefit from being surrounded by a supportive team of staff and have opportunities to shadow and learn from other experienced professionals.
