As a Mental Health Team Leader, you'll work alongside the Service Manager to deliver exceptional person-centred support while leading, motivating, and developing a dedicated team of Support Workers.
You'll create an environment where both colleagues and the people we support can thrive.
🌈 What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for:
- ✔ Leading and supporting a team of Mental Health Support Workers
- ✔ Coaching, mentoring and developing colleagues
- ✔ Ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is delivered
- ✔ Supporting residents with their recovery and independence goals
- ✔ Completing supervisions, spot checks and staff development
- ✔ Managing medication safely and in line with policies
- ✔ Supporting with rota management and day-to-day service operations
- ✔ Promoting safeguarding, dignity and positive risk management
- ✔ Acting as a role model and creating a positive team culture

👀 What We're Looking For
We're looking for an inspirational leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding care.
You'll ideally have:
- ✔ Experience leading or supervising teams within health or social care
- ✔ Experience supporting adults with mental health needs or complex behaviours
- ✔ A Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards one)
- ✔ Excellent communication and organisational skills
- ✔ A person-centred approach and positive leadership style
- ✔ Two satisfactory references covering the last three years
- ✔ Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS (paid for by us)
