One of our clients is an very early-stage nonprofit venture bridging profit-driven innovation with social impact models. Their mission is to build lean, scalable initiatives that balance compliance, credibility, and long-term impact. They are seeking a Mentor to provide guidance, perspective, and wisdom to the founding team as they navigate growth and sustainability.
Position Overview
We are seeking a mentor who can provide guidance, perspective, and wisdom across the dimensions of business growth, investor expectations, and consumer trust. Unlike an advisor, this role is not about networks or execution, it is about helping the founding team develop clarity, resilience, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

Founder Development
- Offer guidance on leadership, decision-making, and personal growth.
- Share experiences to help founders navigate uncertainty and setbacks.
- Provide perspective on balancing ambition with sustainability.

Strategic Insight
- Help refine vision, mission, and long-term goals.
- Offer feedback on product-market fit and consumer trust strategies.
- Guide thinking around profit vs. non-profit balance in hybrid models.

Investor & Business Owner Mindset
- Share insights on how investors evaluate startups.
- Help founders think like business owners, focusing on sustainability, governance, and credibility.
- Encourage practices that build consumer loyalty and stakeholder trust.

Qualifications
- Experience as a founder, investor, or senior leader in profit and/or non-profit ventures.
- Strong ability to coach, guide, and inspire rather than execute.
- Deep understanding of both investor expectations and consumer needs.
- Passion for mentoring and empowering emerging leaders.
Engagement
This is a mentorship role, not operational or execution-focused. Engagement is flexible, structured around regular conversations, feedback sessions, and milestone reviews.
