Data Centre & Mission Critical Industrial Projects
Location: Somerset
Our client is seeking an experienced MEP Commercial Manager with a track record delivering large-scale, high-complexity projects. Do you thrive in fast-paced, high-spec technology environments where quality, safety, and innovation are paramount?
Our client—a Tier 1 main contractor with a turnover exceeding £1bn—is expanding its mission critical division and seeking a Senior MEP Commercial Manager to lead major data centre and industrial projects across Somerset.
The Role:
As Senior MEP Commercial Manager, you will take full ownership of commercials across high-value, high-priority projects. You will work closely with internal teams, specialist subcontractors, consultants, and the client to drive excellence in programme, cost, safety, and technical performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Commercials on all MEP strategy, coordination, procurement, installation, and commissioning on flagship data centre and mission critical industrial schemes
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and specialist supply chain partners
- Ensure projects meet commercial, quality, and technical objectives
- Oversee programme delivery, risk management, and project reporting
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
- Drive innovation and best practice across MEP systems, buildability, and delivery processes
About You:
- Proven experience commercially delivering MEP packages on large-scale data centres or mission critical industrial projects
- Strong technical understanding across electrical, mechanical, and critical systems
- Ability to lead teams, manage complexity, and communicate at senior level
- Comfortable working within a Tier 1 contractor environment
- Driven, commercially aware, and solutions-focused
