TikTok Shop UK Merchandise Strategy Manager

TikTok Shop UK generated 2.1 billion GBP in GMV in 2025. BFCM delivered a 3x uplift for sellers, and the UK Summer Sale saw daily GMV peaks 1.6x higher than the previous year. Platform subsidies and merchandise strategy sit right behind those results. The team behind that function is hiring.

Role Overview

This is a Merchandise Strategy Manager role within TikTok Shop UK's e-commerce campaign team, owning product selection strategy and promotion subsidy planning across major UK campaigns including Black Friday and seasonal promotions.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and optimise end-to-end merchandise strategies for UK campaigns
  • Analyse industry trends, competitor offerings, and TikTok user insights to drive GMV, conversion rates, and average order value
  • Design merchant incentive mechanisms using platform resources including traffic support and subsidies
  • Build and run A/B tests to optimise subsidy ROI
  • Coordinate with Product, Data Analytics, and Engineering to consolidate feature requirements and build the data infrastructure behind the strategy

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
