Job Description
This role is responsible for developing and executing merchandise selection strategies and promotion subsidy plans for TikTok UK's e-commerce campaigns. You will own key business metrics including GMV scale, operational efficiency, merchant participation rate, and user growth, while aligning strategies with market trends, consumer demands, and platform business objectives. Your work will directly drive sales performance, enhance long-term merchant growth, and deliver genuine value to TikTok users.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize end-to-end merchandise strategies for UK campaigns (e.g., seasonal promotions, Black Friday) by analyzing industry trends, competitor offerings, and TikTok user insights, directly driving GMV, conversion rates, and average order value (AOV) growth.
- Design merchant incentive mechanisms using platform resources (traffic support, subsidies, data tools) to attract high-quality merchants and premium, competitively priced products; collaborate with the Industry AM team to expand merchant coverage and enhance recruitment efficiency.
- Create targeted subsidy strategies for campaigns and conduct A/B tests to optimise subsidy ROI, unlocking user acquisition and repeat purchase growth.
- Coordinate with Product, Data Analytics, and Engineering teams to consolidate product feature requirements and build data infrastructure, enabling data-driven strategy adjustments and stakeholder alignment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
