Merchandiser
Are you looking for work on a part-time basis to boost your income?
CPM is looking for team members who can join us to place POS (point of sale) and in-store media in Asda.
Flexibility & Commitment:
- Available every Wednesday night/Thursday morning (average 1.5 hours per week)
- £16.94/hour (including holiday pay)
- Location: Darlington, United Kingdom, DL1
- Store: Asda Darlington (Darlington SS, DL1 3RB)
What will I be doing?
You will be responsible for placing POS in designated store areas for multiple brands. All POS placements must be:
- Correctly positioned
- Photographed for reporting via an online app
Typical Call Activities:
- Introduce yourself to store contacts upon arrival
- Collaborate with store colleagues to locate and retrieve delivered POS
- Place POS as instructed, using a stepladder for height-specific media
Key Requirements for this Role
To be considered, you’ll need to:
- Commit to weekly visits between 8 PM Wednesday and 8 AM Thursday
- Own a smartphone (Android or Apple) for app-based reporting
- Be comfortable with:
- Ladder use for in-store media placement
- Operating a mobile app for reporting
- Navigating the store, including lifting and moving boxes as needed
- Demonstrate strong relationship-building and communication skills

Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience working with POS merc placements
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of all placements
