Merchandiser
Part-Time POS Placement Role – Asda, Sittingbourne
Job Overview
Are you looking for a part-time role to boost your income? Our client, CPM, is seeking reliable and motivated team members to place POS (point of sale) and in-store media in Asda, Sittingbourne.

What You’ll Be Doing
Your main responsibility will be to place promotional materials in designated areas across the store. You’ll work with various brands to ensure coverage, documenting completed tasks via an online reporting app.
Typical Call Tasks:
- Sign into the store and introduce yourself to key store contacts
- Locate and place pre-delivered POS materials, including:
- Bollard covers
- Promotional barkers
- Large gondola end cardboard displays
- Other brand-specific POS (as required)
- Use a stepladder for high placements of in-store media
- Ensure 100% coverage of POS placements in the agreed areas

- Commit to every Thursday for calls, between 6am and 4pm
- Own a smartphone (Android/iOS) to report and track placements
- Be comfortable using a ludder (stepladder) for height-based placements
- Be fully confident with app-based systems (e.g., reporting, navigation)
- Be happy to spend several hours in-store on a weekly basis, sometimes assisting with PALLET UNLOADINGOR moving heavier boxes
- Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Have PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH POS PLACEMENTS (essential)

You’ll be especially well-suited if you also have:
- Attention to detail for precise POS placement
- A self-starter mindset with appetite for flexibility
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a team
Note: Hours may slightly fluctuate weekly, but mornings will always remain within the 6am–4pm window.
