Role Summary
We are looking for a Shopify Merchandiser to support the client's Manhattan brand by configuring products, maintaining merchandising across the Shopify ecommerce site, and ensuring products are fully set up and ready for QA and launch. This is a hands-on execution role working closely with Business, Marketing, Content, and QA teams to deliver timely product launches and promotional updates.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure products, collections, categories, and merchandising rules within Shopify.
- Execute merchandising updates for product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal trading activities.
- Maintain merchandising across Homepage, Collection Pages, PLPs, PDPs, and promotional landing pages.
- Ensure product information, imagery, pricing, content, and merchandising assets are complete and launch-ready.
- Support end-to-end product launch activities, including setup, validation, QA readiness, and post-launch checks.
- Perform routine site checks to ensure merchandising, navigation, promotions, and product visibility remain accurate.
- Identify merchandising issues, raise defects where required, and coordinate with technical teams through resolution.
- Work closely with Business, Brand, Marketing, Creative, and QA teams to deliver merchandising activities aligned to project timelines.
- Support merchandising activities for the Manhattan brand on the Shopify platform.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on ecommerce merchandising experience.
- Strong experience administering and merchandising Shopify storefronts.
- Experience managing product catalogues, collections, categories, and product setup.
- Experience supporting product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate merchandising changes before release.
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

Nice to Have
- Experience supporting large ecommerce implementation or migration programmes.
- Knowledge of search merchandising, product ranking, or merchandising optimisation.
- Familiarity with PIM systems or ecommerce content management platforms.
- Exposure to ecommerce QA processes.
- Understanding of onsite merchandising best practices, customer journeys, or basic CRO principles.
- Experience working with international or multi-region ecommerce businesses.
