Merchandiser

Part-Time POS Placer | Asda Kingshill

About the Role

Seeking team members on a part-time basis to enhance POS (point of sale) and in-store media placements at Asda Kingshill.

Work hours: Every Wednesday evening (8pm) or Thursday morning (8am), averaging 2 hours per week. Flexible shifts planned in advance, with pay of £16.94 per hour (holiday pay included).

  • Store: Asda Kingshill | SS ME19 4SZ

Key Responsibilities

  • Place POS displays in designated store sections to support multiple brands.
  • Ensure full coverage of all POS placements.
  • Report task completion via a secure mobile app (photos taken for verification).

A typical call involves:

  • Signing in and introducing yourself to store key contacts.
  • Find and place pre-delivered POS in predetermined sections (requiring stepladder use to position media).
  • Liaise with store colleagues to efficiently manage stock and placements.

Key Requirements

✔ Availability to work Wednesday evenings/Thursdays (8pm-8am), with notified shifts in advance. ✔ Android or Apple smartphone for app-based reporting. ✔ Experience in using stepladders or heavy lifting (POS boxes/stock movement). ✔ Confidence in navigating app-based systems and in-store navigation. ✔ Proven ability to build relationships and communicate professionally.

Bonus skills:

  • Previous POS merchandising/ placing experience.
  • Attention to detail and time management ability.
