Merchandiser
About the Role: Part-Time POS Merchandiser – Asda, South Shields
Are you looking for a flexible part-time role to supplement your income? CPM is hiring team members to place POS (point of sale) and in-store media in Asda stores based in South Shields, United Kingdom (NE33).
- Contract Type: Part-time
- Hours: ~2 hours per week (average), Wednesday evenings/Thursday mornings (between 8pm–8am) (Weekly hours and times will be flexible but communicated in advance.)
- Pay: £16.94 per hour (includes holiday pay)
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your main tasks will include:
- POS Installation & Monitoring:
- Sign into the store and introduce yourself to key store contacts.
- Locate pre-delivered POS materials in the store.
- Place POS displays in assigned store sections (including using a stepladder for high-placement media).
- Digital Reporting:
- Photograph all completed placements to ensure quality.
- Submit your work via an app-based system for tracking.

- Be able to commit to weekly visits to Asda South Shields (SS NE33 1AZ).
- Have a smartphone (Android or iOS) for app-based reporting.
- Be comfortable using a stepladder to place material at height.
- Be competent with app navigation and digital workflows.
- Enjoy in-store work, including possible handling of POS boxes/stock.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with store staff.
- Pay attention to detail and maintain high standards of quality.
Preferred: Experience with POS merchandising.
