Merchandiser
Part-Time POS Placement Role
Are you looking for work on a part-time basis to boost your income?
CPM is hiring freelance team members to place Point of Sale (POS) and in-store media at Asda stores.
About the Role
- Hours: Every Wednesday evening / Thursday morning (average 2.5 hours/week)
- Rate: £16.94/hour (including holiday pay)
- Location: Store Asda Glenrothes (SS KY7 5QB) with ideal proximity to Kirkcaldy, KY7, UK
Key Responsibilities
Your main tasks will include:
- Signing in and introducing yourself to store contacts upon entry.
- Locating and verifying pre-delivered POS/merchandise stock.
- Placing in-store signage and point-of-sale materials as directed.
- Using a stepladder to position media at required heights.
- Photographing and reporting POS placement through an online app.
Requirements
Core Requirements
- Availability: Committed to store visits Tuesday evening (8pm) – Thursday morning (8am) (chedule varies weekly, advance notice provided).
- Own a smartphone (Android or iOS) to log placements via the app.
- Ability to lift and navigate boxes of POS stock and utilise a stepladder at height.
- Confidence with navigating digital platforms and reporting POS placement.
- Willingness to spend several hours in-store, moving stock as needed.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills (essential whilst liaising with store staff).

Ideal Candidate
- Attention to detail to ensure seamless POS execution.
- Previous POS placement experience is a plus.
- Flexibility to accommodate week-to-week scheduling variations.
