Mise en Place Merchandiser – Eastbourne (Part-Time, Flexible Hours)
We are seeking Merchandisers based in the Eastbourne area – approx. 4–6 hours per week* (likely to increase during peak periods). £16.28/hr (PAYE, inclusive of holiday pay). Start within 2 weeks after onboarding and training, with long-term, ongoing work available.
Flexible hours: Monday–Sunday, with fixed visit days (Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday). Preferred experience: Retail or merchandising (health & beauty a plus, supporting new launches, promotions, or refreshes). Own car essential to cover Eastbourne and surrounding 15-mile radius.
What You’ll Be Doing
Responsibilities include:
- Visiting a mix of high-street, grocery, and convenience stores to:
- Complete merchandising tasks & audits.
- Set up point-of-sale (POS) materials.
- Navigate fixtures (gondolas, bays, shelving) confidently.
- Merchandising products in line with planograms, ensuring:
- Maximum stock visibility on shelves.
- Eye-catching displays for customers.
- Stock rotation & maintenance.
- Negotiating additional display space to drive sales.
- Lifting/moving stock may be required.

What We’re Looking For
Ideally: ✅ Experience in retail or merchandising – especially with:
- Boots, department stores or premium beauty brands. ✅ Availability for Monday–Sunday shifts, incl. fixed visits on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays. ✅ Reliability, adaptability & independence. ✅ Confidence in building store relationships & communicating effectively. ✅ Commitment to pride in workmanship. ✅ Own transport, as you’ll occasionally carry promotional materials. ✅ Comfortable using a phone/tablet to:
- Complete reporting via our app.
- Send clear photos & provide feedback.
