Merchandiser
CPM Part-Time POS Placement Role – Asda Kingshill (ME19)
About the Role
Are you looking for a part-time role to boost your income? CPM is seeking team members to place POS (point of sale) and in-store media in Asda stores.
We need flexible, experienced professionals who can commit to every Thursday (average 2–4 hours per week) to support several brands by ensuring full POS placement and coverage. You’ll earn £14.70/hour (including holiday pay).
Ideal location: Kingshill, ME19 Store: Asda Kingshill SS, ME19 4SZ
Hours: Calls must be completed 6am–4pm on Thursdays (exact timing varies weekly but will be known in advance).
Key Responsibilities
In a typical visit (recall week is the minimal commitment), you will:
- Sign in securely and introduce yourself to key store contacts.
- Locate and place pre-delivered POS, including:
- Bollard covers and promotional display units.
- Gondola endcard cardboard promotional stands.
- Barkers/Banners, stepladder placements of media (where required).
- Confidently use a stepladder for installations at height.
- Photograph and report all completed placements via CPM’s app (Android/IPH).
Core Requirements
To succeed, you must meet the following:
- Commit to regular weekly calls (always Thursday mornings).
- Be technologically competent, able to navigate the app-based reporting system independently.
- Have clear communication and relationship-building skills (essential for liaising with store staff).
- Have experience placing POS/on-site merchandising (practical experience is non-negotiable).
- Own a working smartphone (Android/IPH) for digital reporting.
- Seamlessly execute logistical tasks, such as moving lightweight stock or navigating complex store layouts.
- After initial training, source the work independently, but CPM assigns recruitment and support via field managers.
