INTRODUCTION

At Burberry, we believe creativity opens spaces. Our purpose is to unlock the power of imagination to push boundaries and open new possibilities for our people, our customers, and our communities. This is the core belief that has guided Burberry since it was founded in 1856 and is central to how we operate as a company today.

We aim to provide an environment for creative minds from different backgrounds to thrive, bringing a wide range of skills and experiences to everything we do. As a purposeful, values-driven brand, we are committed to being a force for good in the world as well, creating the next generation of sustainable luxury for customers, driving industry change, and championing our communities.

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking an experienced and commercially sharp Merchandiser to join our Kidswear team (on a 9-month FTC) to own and drive one of our key product categories end-to-end. This is a high-impact role at the heart of our product engine, responsible for leading the full merchandising lifecycle—from initial brief through to market launch and final exit. You will play a critical part in shaping our strategy, collaborating closely with Design, Sourcing, Product Development, and Planning to deliver exceptional product that resonates with our customers globally. This role also carries leadership responsibility, managing and developing an Assistant Merchandiser to support the category’s continued growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
